Product Overview

A rotary airlock is mounted to the dust collection discharge cone and transfers captured particulate to the canister below, while maintaining an air seal in the dust collection system.  Eurovac will design the airlock that is best suited for the type and volume of particulate that is being captured, to ensure it meters dust at a controlled rate, preventing clogs or overflow in the hopper.  Since the collector is vacuum sealed above the airlock, customers often purchase a second canister which allows the system to continue to run while they empty the canister that is full.  Rotary airlocks also serve as an important safety feature for explosive dust applications as they provide strength to the dust collection hopper which ensures explosive dust is channeled through the collector mounted relief vent.

  • Discharge guard which is a mandatory safety feature for rotary airlocks with an open/exposed discharge
  • Stop sensor which gets fastened to the rotary airlock and notices when it has stopped and shuts the dust collection system down
  • Discharge blow through adaptor allows material to be conveyed to remote location
